Nursing Services.

A domestic abuse case worker is attached to the A&E department.  Duty times vary. However A&E staff can refer the person to the case worker and they will follow it up.

Staff are trained to refer homeless or potentially homeless patients to relevant services as per guidelines and flowcharts on homeless people and domestic abuse. (The homeless and domestic abuse flowcharts are available in the Info Centre.)
