Brief Outline of Service	SERVICE CLOSED The George Street Crisis Service provides 24 hour support in a purpose built flat for people going through a Mental Health Crisis. Accommodation is limited to a maximum of 10 days and staff are available to provide high levels of emotional and practical support. People using the service may have a wide range of personal difficulties which have resulted in them being unable to cope emotionally. This service seeks to support those whose circumstances have resulted in, or are likely to result in their mental health becoming seriously affected.

Any other relevant details	All referrals must satisfy admission criteria and the referrer must accompany the person to the service at point of admission. For more information please contact the service.

Opening Hours	Admission to the service will normally happen within 24 hours of a referral which can be made at any time day or night. However we may need to arrange additional staff to be at the project before we can accept a referral.

Please give Details	The service can cater for most needs with the exception of personal care. Service Users will have to provide their own food, but cooking facilities are available within the flat.

Mental Health Crisis Support Service for people requiring a short period of support which is not available to them in their normal accommodation. This service is limited to 10 day maximum stay and entry is based on strict admission criteria.
