Care at Home and Housing Support Services for a maximum of 7 men and/or women who are over the age of 18 years with severe and enduring mental illness, associated challenging behaviour and complex needs.

    

Support is based on the ethos of Recovery and the promotion of Social Inclusion enabling people to move on to living independently.

Every referral is assessed on their need for support regardless of personal circumstances.
Referrals can only be accepted through Social Work or Health Professionals.
Only offer services to people with severe and enduring mental health problems with associated challenging behaviour and complex needs.

Clients must meet their own household expenses e.g. food, electricity, TV licence. Housing and Council Tax Benefits must be applied for.

George Street focuses on Recovery with a Person Centred approach. People who use the service expected to co-operate with staff in a variety of areas so that they can move on to independent living.

Social Work and Health Professionals. All referrals must pass through the Mental Health Housing Resource Panel at Royal Cornhill Hospital and come with a full and up to date Single Shared Assessment.
